10 things about thyself
1 thing about life

1. I hate it when people contradict themselves, and continuously tend to do so.
2. I'm a sucker for nice-coloured eyes i.e: blue, grey, light brown and strong jawlines.
3. Up until now, I've always felt the need to have a fringe or a bang to frame my face a la Elliot from Scrubs. But now I really just like the whole fresh look of putting your hair up without having pieces of hair in your face or parted. Yes, the split.
4. For the past year or so, I think I've found more things to despise than like about people in general.
5. I like having a vase of flowers on my desk. Today, I have white chrysanthemum, dark purple and lilac daisies.
6. It really makes me upset when I see old people alone. There's this one couple I pass by every morning and they're always holding hands whilst walking together. Lately, the husband's been walking by himself every morning and it makes me sad....but let's not assume the worst hey?
7. I love Asian Alley. Though we're not really close, I love how we just establish a spot whether it's cold or hot and sit, blocking everyone's way. For that 20 minutes filled with awkward silences, laughter, teasing each other (i.e: calling Nelson fat, David an Arab, Joanne a man), talking amongst ourselves, planning after-parties and whatnot, it all goes by so fast and I know I'll miss this part of the day most.
8. The idea of romantic dates don't appeal to me. I prefer doing things as we go, whatever we feel like. None of that long walks on the beach and candle-lit dinners and crap like that. I'm an advocate of good food though..food, and I'm sold. With lots of fun, spontaneous and cheap thrills :)
9. I wish I was more athletical and active. I envy my niece who's an all-rounder- dancer, fast swimmer and runner, basketball for PSSA, t-ball and rollerbladding at home with her homegirls. Some people I know who's at uni now all seem to have an obsession with the gym. Let's hope I turn out like that...
10. I haven't had a decent phone conversation in a while. It's strange how I used to spend hours and hours talking, three-waying(which was so fun!) and now I find it difficult to engage in those. Time flies and things change...
Life? I reckon there's nothing to the end of life. You just die. I don't really believe in Heaven and Hell , and I don't mind what happens after I die. I guess this just makes me want to live my life better, go and enjoy life and stop worrying about what happens at the end. I go by the saying 'You only live once'- and I believe that's a healthier and more positive way of approaching life.
