So what do you get when you combine Kim, an oven, unmeasured ingredients, and some asian mini cake moulds?
CUPCAKES!
Okay so I'm not a very good cook, but hey. First time and I'm pretty proud of myself :)
I'm not usually the one in the kitchen because my mum thinks I'm up to no good and could burn the house down :@ but anywho!
These little fritters took me about an hour to make, and I only ended up with 3 that turned out edible. They actually tasted more like scones, maybe it wasnt moist enough. Heck they don't even look like cupcakes but oh well. The icing turned out well though. Very soft and buttery and...mmm.
Its okayy, I'm still working on it. I think its pretty cute, I was going after the "rose" effect since I was lacking in those fancy schmancy icing tool squeeze-ey things. Oh but you watch. One day, I'm going to be the best cupcake maker in town and kickass My Little Cupcake. Fer sure!
So today's practically the start of my holidays, woo-hoo! I feel like I shouldve went to school coz of the beautiful weather today but oh well. I don't really have much plans. One thing's for sure, I will get aloooooot of sleep. Gotta love the sleep.
Maybe one day, you and I can make cupcakes. And I'll be sure to have a proper tray, an electric beater and you can do all the washing up. I promise. ;););)
